How the Event Design Program Works

Getting Started:

• Define Your Wedding Style:  Event design or styling first requires sitting down and discussing the goal and visions you have for your event. It’s not necessary to have a theme set in stone, but you should have an idea of what you’re trying to accomplish and some of the logistics in mind that can contribute to the vision of your event. We ask that you take our Wedding Style Quiz to see the type of style you land on as well as share with us your Pinterest boards.
• Schedule your Event Design Welcome Call: This 30 minute call will be via Zoom or phone and our event design team will confirm your vision and provide advice on how to move forward with your design using rentals or suggest items to purchase.
  

Planning: 

• Design 101:  At your own pace we ask that you complete our 8 step training on Design 101. These teachings are packed full of wonderful advice broken down on how to decorate each part of your big day. This information has been selected exclusively for our Brownstone couples on how to make your dream vision become a reality in our event space.
• RSVP & Attend a Design Open House: You are invited to RSVP and attend an Open House at The Milestone Market to meet with our design team in person. We hold open houses multiple times a month. You are welcome to attend as many or as few as you would like prior to your wedding day.

 All open houses will be held at The Milestone Market located across the street from The Brownstone. This space is where we store all of our rentals and is the perfect place to design! The address to The Milestone Market is 3935 NW 25th St, Topeka KS 66618. 

Final Details

Submit Final Details: 

• Complete Wedding Planning Guide (provided by The Brownstone)
• Submit final rental inventory selections on The Brownstone website.
• Schedule Final Design Call: Schedule your final 1:1 call with your event designer to verify all design details. 

Wedding Day

• Implementation: On the day of the event, your event designer will work diligently to get your décor setup and make sure that everything looks polished and ready. Part of implementation also includes tearing down after your event has been completed.

Just as a reminder, The Brownstone event design service does NOT include the physical items for rent.

The Brownstone will provide a quote for all rentals after initial consultation. 

Event Design Services $500
Starting July 1st, 2022 Event Design Services will increase to $850.
