On the day of your reserved event The Brownstone will open the doors at 9:00 am for you to decorate the reserved facilities, utilize the dressing rooms and take photographs.
The tables and chairs will be set per agreed upon layout. The ceremony location will be set at least 4 hours prior to the event, weather permitting.
The Brownstone requests that you limit the number of people present during that timeframe to those assisting with decorating, the wedding party and to the family and friends that are being photographed prior to the wedding reception. Vendors will not be allowed access to the venue prior to 9:00 am the day of the event.
Ceremony
The Brownstone offers many beautiful ceremony spots including the back lawn, limestone patio, brick patio and main reception hall. You will inform your venue coordinator of your preferred ceremony space at the pre-event meeting. If the ceremony location must be changed due to weather or other circumstances the decision must be made at least 6 hours prior to the ceremony start time. Fifty wooden benches are available to use for outdoor ceremonies but do not move from north west lawn location. 200 white wedding chairs are available to use for ceremonies located on the brick patios. The Brownstone recommends bringing a sound system for all outdoor ceremonies. A 100ft extension cord is required for power out in the lawn.
There is so much to celebrate!
