Hello Friends,

Life is about moments. At The Brownstone our goal is to make each moment of your special event memorable from start to finish. It is our responsibility to help you make your dream wedding and event visions a reality. Our values inspire us to professionally serve our community with the highest level of customer service and attention to detail. 

Meet our back office team. 

The Brownstone team is so excited about your big day. We are here to help in any way that we can, and we LOVE questions. Please feel free to reach out to us via email (events@thebrownstonetopeka.com) and phone (785-235-0057). Each question will be responded to by our back office team. We try to respond to all communication within 24 hrs. Our office is open Monday-Thursday from 1:00pm-6:00pm. The back office team behind the tours, contracts, emails and calls include Abbey, Jennifer and Donna.

Meet our coordinators.

A venue coordinator will coordinate your 1 hour rehearsal to be held the Thursday prior to your event. You will meet your assigned coordinator at least 3 weeks prior to your wedding and they will go over an extensive list of details regarding your wedding and/or reception.  On the day of your event, our coordinator will arrive at The Brownstone one and a half hour prior to your wedding and will be available to you at that time.

The event coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Representing The Brownstone for questions that arise for both the Client and Vendors.
  • Supervising setup and teardown of tables, chairs, lighting, sound and other equipment.
  • Coordinating wedding rehearsal, ceremony walk out and is available throughout the reception for vendor and client questions.
  • Ensuring cleanup checklist is followed.
  • Vacating and securing the facility.

Event Assistant

An event assistant will be on site with the venue coordinator to help with tasks such as taking out the trash, cleaning up spills, and attending to any tables and chairs that may need to be moved during the event.



Each alcohol beverage package includes one bartender. Additional bartenders can be purchased for each event.


Security Guard

A 3rd party security guard will be present at all events that include the consumption of alcohol.
